I was responsible for building, and managing the tech team, and setting up the end-to-end technology process.

• Saved more than $40K on cloud bills by optimizing cloud infra.
• Set up the first core engineering team (13 Engineers) in less than 2 months.
• Created the end-to-end sprint process.

At Toppr, I managed end-to-end technology implementations for Toppr School platform, a SaaS application given to schools to conduct online classes, quizzes, and exams.

• Delivered the quiz platform in less than 21 days.
• Successfully delivered and managed the end-to-end implementation of online classes via Zoom API.

Description

Xwards was my second startup. It was an in-cab mobility advertisement company based out of Bangalore. At Xwards, we installed tablets inside taxis for passengers to watch content such as news, videos, live TV, etc. Based on the passengers watching preferences an intelligent system would push advertisements to the tablet.

Major Technical Challenges:

• Managing no-buffering on content for a seamless experience.
• Syncing logs and user activities while the tablet was in no network zone.
• Real-time intelligence for pushing Ads based on logs from devices.
• Developing systems to stop device theft.

Description

Justdial, India's number 1 local search engine. Justdial lacked log tracking systems and was unable to track their visitors on the genre of search that one was doing. And hence being Senior Software Engineer, I developed their log visualization platform using Fluentd, MongoDB and Kibana.

Major Contributions:

• Developed internal application library on extending Log4JS and Log4PHP for applications to log various events.
• Established end-to-end logging infrastructure
• Reverse Geo-Coding for addresses in Justdial database to find lat-long from string

Description

I was on contract in the Business Catalyst Team (BCS) for Qualcomm. During my tenure at the organization I worked on various differnet internal applications of Qualcomm. Here I explored technologies like - AngularJS, JQuery, Jasmine, RequireJS, Moodle(PHP), Wordpress, Bootstrap3, iScroll, MobileUIAngular, Foundation, Phonegap, Android etc...

Major Contributions:

• Developed and led core modules for Qualcomm's employee learning portal.
• Developed internal tools for data migration and data validations
• Developed several proof of concept applications.
